Velour is a knit, is stretchable and has a rich luxuriant feel and a light shimmer making it look similar to velvet. Waffle bathrobes are light and breezy and are excellent to wear during summer. Silk bathrobes for women are not very functional, but look very dressy because of the sophistication elegance, class and of the fabric. Fleece bathrobes made from polyester fibers keeps the body warm during winter. However, fleece has a few disadvantages because it attracts lint, dust, hair and the surface of the fabric gets bally.
